9/5/12: Before

Let’s face it, I’ve always been overweight.

I didn’t take care of myself when I was younger, having a poor diet and scoffing at the idea of exercise.

Add two children to my past mistakes and I’m saddled with much more weight than I would like.

I thought it would be easy to lose the weight, I changed my diet to a mostly vegan diet, cut out all soda, and began taking spin classes, pilates, and yoga.

Almost a year later and I have lost a grand total of...... 5 pounds. Ugh.
